The brooch is in Rose, White and Yellow gold. It is done in a satin finish with polished highlights to bring out the detail, and the eyes are dark sapphires, to give a sparkle of life!  It has a roller safety catch on the back, and measures 5 cm x 1 cm (2 x 3/4″)
